The launch of Klorane ‘s Desert date range in 2012 kicked off the Great Green Wall project. This project ‘s objective was to halt the desertification of the entire impoverished Sahara-Sahel region, from where the desert date tree is originated, affected by massive emigration since the major droughts of the 70s and the effects of excess use of the land.
